Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Position: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Burnley Area
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Pay: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team at an Alternative Provision in the Burnley area. If you are passionate about supporting students who thrive in a non-mainstream educational environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored learning support to small groups or individuals.
- Assist in the development of educational plans to meet each student's unique needs.
- Work closely with teachers and staff to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive attitudes towards learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.

What We're Looking For:
- HLTA qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in an alternative provision or with students with additional needs is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, resilient attitude.
- A passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
