Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – SEND Provision
Location: BL6 (Bolton area)
Start: Immediate / January
Pay: Competitive / Based on experience

A school in BL6 is seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to support their SEND provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner to make a real impact on pupils with additional needs in a supportive school environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted support for pupils with special educational needs (SEND)

• Work one-to-one and in small groups to support learning and development

• Assist in planning and delivering differentiated lessons under teacher guidance

• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

• Maintain records of pupil progress and contribute to SEND planning

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• HLTA qualified (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience working with SEND pupils

• Strong communication, patience, and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Commitment to supporting children to achieve their potential
