Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs?
A specialist primary and secondary setting in Blandford Forum is looking for a dedicated HLTA to join their team from September 2025 in a full-time position.
You will support pupils aged 5 to 16, delivering tailored learning and emotional support to help each student thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Role Overview:

Lead and support learning activities across primary and secondary age groups

Work closely with teaching staff to implement personalised education plans

Support pupils with a range of SEN, including communication, cognition, and interaction needs

Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Encourage independence and confidence in every student

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
