Job Title: Higher Level Science Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:

- Support the science department in delivering high-quality lessons - Assist in preparing practical experiments and demonstrations - Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help - Help maintain laboratory equipment and resources - Supervise students during laboratory sessions - Assist in the assessment and grading of student work - Support the teacher in classroom management and behaviour management

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant degree in a science-related field - Previous experience working in a school or educational setting

Preferred Qualifications:

- Teaching Assistant qualification - First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

- Work in a school environment - Full-time hours - Potential for some evening or weekend work for school events or meetings - May involve standing for long periods and some lifting of equipment
