High Level Teaching Assistant required

Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely Primary school in Worthing who are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their close-knit team to offer their support. The school is looking for a dedicated individual who is happy to support across various year groups. As an HLTA, you will be assisting with class activities and provide assistance to pupils who may need the additional support based in or out of the classroom. You may be required to cover sections of lessons if absence were to arise. This role will be on a Full-time basis.

This position has the opportunity to be extended for the right candidate.  

The Role:

• Across year groups support
• Working 1:1 or small group work basis with pupils who require additional support
• Supporting children with class work and other class activities
• Covering parts of the lesson if required.
• Full time – term time only 8:30am-3:30pm
• £77 - £85 per day

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people. 
• Minimum 5 GCSE Maths & English A-C 
• Experience working with pupils on small group or 1:1 basis.
• Safeguarding training - Teaching Personnel can support with this.
• DBS on the update service (or willing to complete a new one)
• First aid training (desired but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
