SEMH Teacher – Milton Keynes

Are you a dedicated and qualified teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

One of our partner SEMH schools in Milton Keynes is seeking a Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join their team full-time. This rewarding role focuses on delivering core subjects such as English and Maths in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assess, and monitor pupils’ progress in line with their individual learning needs

  • Implement behaviour support plans to help avoid known triggers

  • Establish and maintain clear routines and expectations in the classroom

  • Collaborate effectively with support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH or a strong desire to work in this area

  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • The ability to differentiate lessons to support a range of learning needs

  • Full-time availability

Safer Recruitment Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)

  • Two most recent employment references covering the past 24 months

  • If applicable, an Overseas Police Check for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
