Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Exeter who are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to start immediately.

This role will involve working with a number of children with additional learning needs such as:

-SEMH

-Autism

-ADHD

-PMLD

-Global Development delay

-Speech and Language

Due to the needs of the children, this role would be ideal for somebody with a background in Health and Social Care. Personal care may be required so you must be willing to support with this. The role is Monday – Friday, term time only and is currently paid at £10.77 per hour. The school is very supportive in career development and would love somebody who is looking to enhance their career and build on their skills. As well as the school providing training throughout the role, Teaching Personnel offer a range of training through online and in person CPD.

This role is to start immediately, and you will have full support from a specialist consultant who is working alongside the school. For your vetting to be complete, we require:

-A 10 – 15-minute pre-vet call to discuss the process and role

-Two references to be obtained from your most recent and relevant roles within the past 6 years

-A child only DBS to be applied for and returned – we can help you apply

-A Face to Face interview with the consultant you’ve been dealing with.

We also require 3 forms of ID and a Proof of Right to work in the UK

This role is located in Exeter and so driving is ideal but isn’t essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
