Health and Social Care Teacher

Are you a qualified Teacher looking for a role teaching Health & Social Care? Do you want a new role focusing on teaching Key Stage 5 aged pupils?

Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified Teacher of Health & Social Care who is comfortable teaching a number of different qualifications to join one of our partners, a sixth form based in the Darlington area. This role would be exclusively teaching 16+ aged pupils and would be covering a Maternity leave.

About the role:

• Full time maternity cover beginning in January 2021 until summer 2021 
• Teaching Health and Social qualifications including BTEC, A-Level and Access to HE 
• Based in a Sixth form centre attached to a secondary school in Darlington
• Working solely with Key Stage 5/16+ pupils

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher (holding UK recognised QTS status or relevant qualification)
• Experience teaching Health and Social Care to Key Stage 5
• Current DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one through ourselves)
• Strong track record of results and raising attainment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
