Head of Science teaching role - Lewisham - January 2020 - Catholic school.

Head of Science teaching position available at ‘Good’ Catholic school in the area of Lewisham – starting from January 2020.

Rate: GBP180 - GBP255 per day.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with Catholic school in the area of Lewisham to source a Head of Science for our client school.

This position is full time, and has become available due to the previous Head of Science taking up another role within SLT at the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a successful Head of Science or experienced Science teacher to secure a opportunity at a school which really cares about education and the welfare of its staff.

This school has a history of offering a safe and generous environment in which pupils can learn and grow. Teachers have a voice and are encouraged to push for career development opportunities.

Job Description Head of Science Teacher – Lewisham – January 2020 start.

  • Run a department and deliver biology, physics and chemistry to KS3 & KS4
  • Work as part of a large science teaching team 6 full time science teachers
  • Contribute to whole school activities.
  • Full time role to start January 2020.
  • UPS and TLR available.

 

Person Specification Science Teacher – Head of Science Teacher – Lewisham – January 2020 start.

  • Must be a QTS science teacher.
  • Current Head of Science or experienced Science teacher  applicants are welcome.
  • Head of Department role.
  • Must be a creative and inventive teacher.
