Position: Head of Science

Location: Kirkham, Preston

Type: Full-Time

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Head of Science.

The Role:

As the Head of Science, you will be the driving force behind our science department, responsible for shaping the curriculum, inspiring both students and fellow educators, and leading the charge in advancing science education. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our school's science program.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Develop and implement a dynamic science curriculum

-          Mentor and support science faculty

-          Foster a culture of curiosity and scientific inquiry

-          Lead initiatives to enhance science education

-          Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote student success

Qualifications:

-          A degree in Science and relevant teaching qualifications

-          Demonstrated leadership experience in an educational setting

-          Passion for inspiring students in the field of science

-          Strong communication and teamwork skills

-          Commitment to our school's values and mission

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
