Head of Computer Science – September 2025 Start

About the Role
As the Head of Computer Science, you will:
- Lead and manage the Computer Science department to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
- Develop an engaging and innovative curriculum that prepares students for a technology-driven world.
- Support and mentor a team of dedicated teachers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Monitor and analyze student progress, implementing strategies to achieve the highest outcomes.
- Play a key role in the school’s leadership team, contributing to whole-school initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A proven track record of excellence in teaching Computer Science at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- A forward-thinking approach to integrating technology in education.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
