Teacher in Hairdressing - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract, FULL TIME 

Salary: In the range of £130 - £160 (Dependent on skills, experience and qualifications)

Location: Northampton, Lower Mounts/Daventry

As a College, who have been rated by Ofsted as 'good' with outstanding features, we are committed to developing the professional and technical skills of our students, who are the workforce and leaders of the future.  The Hair and Beauty curriculum team are passionate about delivering an excellent range of full time Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications in all aspects of hairdressing, beauty and spa therapy and media and theatrical make-up as well as a number of smaller qualifications in complementary therapies, nail technology and hairdressing for both 16-18 year olds and adult learners.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to come and join our team to support across the programme offer, at Levels 1, 2 and 3 in hairdressing. This will involve working as part of the lecturing team to plan lessons and resources, deliver sessions and organise groups. • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Hairdressing

• Experience working within the Hair industry.

• Experience of working in an educational setting

• A passionate commitment to helping young people at the start of their college journey develop the hairdressing skills they need to succeed in the Hair and Beauty industry.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
