Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a "Good" secondary school in the Wallasey area who seek to hire graduate teaching assistants for their support team on a full time basis. The school is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) centre of excellence so applications from graduates in those subjects would be welcome. The post of graduate teaching assistant will involve working with children aged 11-19 proving general classroom support and potentially 1:1 support with pupils who are under achieving and lacking confidence. At this time of year there is also a high demand for day to day teaching assistants so if you are available 3 days or more per week between 8.30-3.30pm, please get in touch.

Applications are welcome from graduates of all backgrounds, previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults is required, if you are in the process of applying for teacher training or have a place secured for 2018/19 this opportunity to work as a graduate teaching assistant would be ideal preparation for you. Applications are particularly welcome from English and Maths graduates.
