Graduates for Education roles

Teaching Personnel are currently working with multiple schools in the area to provide dedicated and reliable graduates who are interested in gaining experience in schools prior to training to teach.

We are currently looking for graduates with the following qualifications for full time and part time roles:

  • Science
  • Maths
  • English
  • IT
  • Humanities

These graduates will work as "Cover Supervisors" ensuring that the all work is completed by students at the schools (11-16 years) when their usual classroom teacher is absent for training, PPA or sickness. This experience will give you an excellent insight into the day to day duties of a teacher allowing you to gain knowledge in the environment prior to enrolling on a PGCE course.

This is an excellent role for individuals looking for a flexible role as well as we also have a need for staff on a daily basis where we fill in for sick staff on the mornings. The basics of the role are as follows:

  • Be attentive and professional - Ensure students are acting correctly, not on their phones or talking beyond what is reasonable
  • Be courteous - Ensure you are polite to staff students and parents alike, getting on well could lead to more opportunities!
  • Be responsible - In this role you will be in charge of up to 30 students at a time we will need you to act responsibly and ensure they are all getting on correctly and safely.
