Graduate/Youth Worker - Sutton

WE HAVE AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY WITH AN IMMEDIATE START!

We are looking for individuals with experience or interest working with young adults in Sutton supporting in college and also within their community.  

Do you have any of the qualities below?

  • Someone confident and interested in supporting youth/young people
  • Someone committed to full-time work with an interest in permanent positions within the school
  • Previous experience with youth work, outreach work or support work – however this is not essential
  • Someone creative, approachable and motivated
  • Someone with a updated Child and Adult DBS or able to apply in order to secure position
  • Someone who is open to Team Teach training to support challenging behaviour and overall career development

Based in Sutton, the college provides opportunities to young adults with a range of learning and social needs. With a student driven enterprise, students work in the digital school to develop innovative and engaging digital resources for students, staff and the wider community. This is a great opportunity for a creative and innovative individual who is passionate about the development of young people.

Due to the ranging needs of students having a background in youth work, support work, mental health work or an understanding through studies is highly beneficial. However, those keen and interested in working with youth with these needs are welcome to apply as training can be provided.

  • Competitive pay GBP60-70 per day (negotiable dependant on experience/training)
  • Full-time work during school term time – School holidays are OFF for staff
