Join a Roman Catholic secondary school in North Manchester; gaining experience supporting pupils aged 11-16 prior to a teacher training course.
- Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant on the ‘Future Teachers Programme’.
- To start in September 2020, for the full academic year.
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month!
This position will provide graduates with invaluable experience, skills and knowledge to become an outstanding teacher of the future, and if successful, you will be supported onto the Schools Direct Programme for 2021. Throughout the programme, you will have access to state of the art training packs online and will also receive face to face training sessions.
As a ‘Future Teacher’, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with identified groups of students delivering pre-planned intervention sessions
- Monitor progress within your chosen subject specialism
- Work alongside class teachers to plan sessions, cover lessons and receive training on what it takes to become an outstanding teacher of the future.
To be accepted onto the Future Teachers Programme, you must have a degree, or be coming to the end of your final year. It is preferred if you have previous experience working with children and young people, however this is not necessary and full training will be provided.
Our client school is based in North Manchester and is easily accessible via the M62 and A62 and public transport links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
