Graduate Teaching Assistant – September 2026 Location: South-West London (Wimbledon, Balham, Tooting, Streatham, Mitcham, Cheam, Sutton and Putney)
Salary: £90 – £110 per day PAYE
Contract: Daily Supply, Long-Term & Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career and gain valuable experience working with children in a primary school? Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of primary schools across South West London who are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, develop key transferable skills and explore long-term careers in teaching, educational psychology, SEN support, youth work or other child-focused professions. We're interested in graduates who have a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their potential.
What we're looking for:
- A completed degree in any subject
- A genuine interest in working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Someone who is reliable, patient and approachable
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- A willingness to learn and develop within a school environment
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
