Join a successful secondary school in Manchester, seeking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant from October 2020.

The role is ideal for any graduates who are interested in becoming a secondary teacher and are looking to gain relevant school based experience. Successful candidates will work as a Teaching Assistant for 12 months, enabling them to gain the experience needed to embark on a Teacher Training course.

The role will involve working within a secondary school in Manchester taking on a variety of responsibilities including covering classes and assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons. You will focus on your subject specialism, providing 1:1 and small group intervention to raise student attainment. Providing support to students with Special Educational Needs may also be involved.

All applicants must be available on a full time basis from (Monday – Friday 8:15am – 3pm). We are looking to recruit graduates across all subject areas with a particular focus on English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL and Physical Education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
