  • Full time position supporting students across years 7 – 11
  • Suited to graduates looking to progress on to a Teacher Training course
  • Paid experience - GBP300 - GBP350 per week
  • Introduction to a number of successful secondary schools in Manchester, accessible by public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas

Teaching Personnel are looking for inspirational graduates to join our Future Teachers Programme. The programme is suited to any graduates who are interested in becoming a secondary teacher and are looking to gain relevant school based experience. Successful candidates will work as a Teaching Assistant for up to 1 academic year, enabling them to gain the experience needed to embark on a Teacher Training course.

What will it involve?

The role will involve working within one of client schools, taking on a variety of responsibilities including covering classes and assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons. You will focus on your subject specialism, providing 1:1 and small group intervention to raise student attainment. You may also be providing support to students with Special Educational Needs.

All applicants must be available on a full time basis from (Monday – Friday 8:15am – 3pm). We are looking to recruit graduates across all subject areas with a particular focus on English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL and Physical Education.
