Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking Graduates/ students who are looking to gain some valuable teaching experience, working as a Teaching Assistant part time.

The Graduate Teaching Assistant role will involve, supporting classes of your specialist subject with opportunity's to cover lessons with set work given. This will give you the experience and confidence to teach and a head start before undertaking a PGCE.

If you are a current student this is an excellent opportunity for you to gain some teaching experience, whilst studying your degree and getting paid.

  • Part time Graduate Teaching Assistant role working a few days a week
  • Flexible working hours, to work around your study periods
  • Located in central Manchester, close to the university's
  • £54-£65 a day, Paid on a weekly basis

This role is aimed at students who are studying one of the 3 main core subjects, Maths, English or Science as there is a high demand in schools for teachers and teaching assistants in there subject areas. If you are a graduate in these areas and are looking for part time work, this is the perfect role for you.

The Headteacher of our client's school is looking to recruit a graduate Teaching Assistant, who is aspiring to become a teacher, looking to work part time to help support their student's academic progress.

The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will;

  • Have/ studying a degree in Maths, English or Science
  • Have aspirations to become a teacher and is looking to gain valuable teaching experience
  • Have previous experience working in an education environment
  • Be able to work flexible part time hours

Our client's secondary school is located in Central Manchester close to the universities, making them convenient to access. As a graduate Teaching Assistant you will be working with KS3-KS4 students ranging from 11-16, utilising your specialist subject knowledge.
