Graduate Teaching Assistant

A central Manchester primary school, M20, are recruiting a Year 6, graduate teaching assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will have prior experience supporting learning across KS2, ideally Year 6, and will have a desire to develop their career in a 'GOOD' Primary School. The post is to start as soon as possible and will continue up until the end of the academic year..

The successful candidate will be expected deliver small group intervention sessions with the lower ability pupils in Year 6 to help raise attainment across all core subject areas. The successful applicant will be working alongside the Year 6 class teacher to monitor progression and highlight next steps for learning. This larger than average primary school prides itself on 'making learning irresistible' and would be an amazing place for a graduate to gain further experience in a Central Manchester primary school!

The ideal candidate will have,

• A clear understanding of the Year 6 curriculum
• A desire to develop a career in education
• Experience working with groups and aiding learning on a 1:1 basis and group basis
