Would you like to gain experience in schools to decide whether a teaching career is the right choice for you?

Teaching Personnel Bristol are seeking Graduates of all subject disciplines for a number of Graduate Teaching Assistant roles. The roles available are both full time and part time. You will be joining one of our partnership Secondary schools in Bristol.

ÂŁ285-ÂŁ325 weekly pay (dependant on experience)

If successful you will be joining a school for the summer term with potential to continue in September for the next academic year.

We are seeking Graduates that will be passionate, motivated and committed to their role supporting students.

What does a Graduate Teaching Assistant do?

  • Interventions & tutoring of your specialist degree subject.
  • Working 1:1 offering support to students
  • Working with small groups of students to provide academic support, particularly with the core subjects English and Maths
  • Behaviour Buddy for students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background
  • Confident personality
  • Reliable
  • Enhanced DBS - Teaching Personnel can help you apply for this upon registration.

Although previous experience working within a school is not a requirement, some experience working with children is desirable. This experience could be from a sports club, youth work, babysitting, or looking after younger siblings.

We are also particularly keen to hear from you if you have experience supporting children or adults with Special Educational Needs as many of the 1:1 roles will be supporting students with additional needs.
