Experienced Teaching Assistants/Graduate Teaching Assistants required
Are you seeking Part time TA work alongside your studies?
Are you able to tutor core subjects to GCSE level?
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit students/graduates to deliver small group interventions at a mainstream secondary school in central Portsmouth. All sessions are prepared in advance by the school alongside resources. You'll simply need to deliver the programme. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for ad hoc work, or wishing to gain further experience before heading into a career within education.
At present, Teaching Personnel are aiding many inner city schools with tuition, particularly in the run up to GCSEs. The advertised role takes place within the school, however other opportunities exist to provide tuition within pupils homes - particularly suiting those who are experienced with SEN or SEMH. Tuition can be flexible, and we currently work with many tutors who provide this service during the week, or evenings, or weekends. It can be very flexible to suit your timetable.
Applicant must meet the following criteria in order to apply:
- Pursuing/Wishing to pursue a career within education, or a core subject
- Experience/Knowledge of the UK curriculum
- A desire to help students to reach their full potential
- Innovative teaching ideas
- A positive role model to pupils and staff
- A flexible approach to temporary tuition placements throughout the year
If you are interested in registering as a tutor with Teaching Personnel, please apply with your CV!
