Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton
Start Date: September 2025

A secondary school in the Wolverhampton are is looking for an ethusiastic and commited Graduate Teaching Assistant to joing their team. Role Responsibilites:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important part in supporting both teaching and learning across the school. You’ll work alongside teachers to help deliver lessons, manage classroom behaviour and provide extra support to students who need it. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
-
Offering one-to-one or small group support, especially for pupils with additional needs
-
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
-
Assisting students in reaching their academic and personal development targets
-
Contributing to behaviour management and helping maintain a smooth classroom routine
Role Specification:

Have experience working with children or within a school setting

Are enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting young people

Communicate clearly and enjoy working as part of a team

Build positive relationships with both students and staff

Understand the importance of safeguarding and are committed to keeping students safe

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
