One of our amazing partner schools in Warwick, OFSTED rated good, are seeking to employ a recent graduate with a passion for education to join their team as a teaching assistant.
The school requires confident and passionate individuals with a genuine interest in supporting children. If you are looking to gain hands on experience within a secondary school setting, this is the role for you!
Teaching assistants are at the heart of any school and are an integral part of a classroom environment.
Important Details:
Hours- Full Time
Rate of Pay- £90-95 (per day)
Start Date- September 2025
Location- Warwick, CV34
Ideal Person Specification:
- Recent university graduate
- An organised, reliable and positive individual
- Keen interest in working within the education sector
- Aspirations to become a teacher in the future
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience working with children or supporting children with special educational needs (desired not essential)
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Support students within different classes/year groups with a range of learning needs, including special educational needs
- Communicate effectively with the class teacher, ensuring you know what is expected of you, each day
- Support the class teacher with the general smooth-running of the class
- Work in small groups and on a 1:1 basis with students who require specialised, tailored support
- Contribute to administrative tasks within the classroom, helping organise relevant classroom materials

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
