Graduate teaching assistant

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Warrington, looking to appoint a Graduate teaching Assistant to start immediately. They are seeking graduates who have a passion for teaching, with previous experience working in a learning environment (e.g. sports coach) that are looking to kick start their teaching career in a secondary school.

The Graduate teaching Assistant role will give you the opportunity to develop your teaching skills undertaking a number of different roles, such as;

• General classroom assistant

• Cover supervisor, teaching lessons of your specialist subject

• Supporting students with behavioural issues

• Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

• 1 to 1 and small group tuition sessions

The Graduate Teaching Assistant role is aimed at graduates who are looking to pursue a career in teaching, with a degree in one of the main core subjects (Maths, English or Science).

• Graduate Teaching Assistant required ASAP

• Full time role on a temporary basis

• Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis

• Located in a secondary school in Warrington

The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant we are looking for will;

• Have previous experience working with secondary school students

• Have a degree in either Maths, Science or English

• Be available to work a full time teaching assistant role

• Have your own form of transport

Our client’s secondary school is situated just off the M56 in Warrington. With a bus stop close by makes the school easy to access for those on public transport. The school have recently had a refurbishment with modern facilities and high quality equipment, offering the students the best learning environment.
