Whether you're considering teacher training in the future or looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in primary schools across Southampton. The role is to start from 3^rd November on a rolling basis initially but could lead to a temporary role.

About the Role:

• As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced teachers to support pupils in the classroom, either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
• You'll gain valuable experience across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping pupils with their learning, behaviour, and confidence.

Ideal for Graduates Who:

• Are considering a career in teaching or applying for a PGCE or teacher training
• Have a degree in any subject (education-related or otherwise)
• Are passionate about working with children and supporting their development
• Want to build classroom experience in a supportive environment
• Are enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn

Requirements:

• Degree (childcare or psychology based subject are desirable)
• Experience working with children (e.g., volunteering, tutoring, mentoring, childcare) is desirable
• A genuine interest in education and primary teaching
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
