Graduate Teaching Assistant

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 with classwork, literacy, numeracy, and general engagement
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour
• Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to help students reach their full potential
• Provide support within specific departments or across the wider school
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in any subject area (2:2 or above preferred)
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with young people
• A genuine interest in education or youth development
• Adaptability, resilience, and a proactive attitude
• Experience with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work) is beneficial but not essential
