Graduate Teaching Assistants Needed
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a number of new graduate Teaching Assistants who are able to provide support within Secondary Schools in the South Manchester area, either immediately or in September at the start of the new academic year. Should you live in this area (or are able to commute to Trafford/South Manchester/Stockport) and have an undergraduate’s degree then we would like to hear from you. This would be an excellent opportunity for anybody looking to gain experience of working within a secondary school setting before potentially pursuing a future career in teaching.
The schools we work with are very supportive and always ensure that the educators within their school are fully equipped with the tools they need to succeed every day. As a TA you will mainly be working with students on either a one to one or small group basis, helping them with their literacy and numeracy. This is a vital role in helping to make sure that no students fall behind and that every child is handed the opportunity to succeed at the highest level. Since the outbreak of covid, students have missed a lot of school time, and so schools are keen to make sure that they are able to catch up as much as possible.
- Pay: £77 - £85 per day depending on experience
- Range of roles within secondary school across Trafford/Stockport/South Manchester
- Great opportunity to gain experience of working within a variety of schools
- Candidates who are considering a future career in teaching are encouraged to apply
The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working with young people (if not in a school setting then in a voluntary youth work/social work capacity). You will also be a confident individual with strong literacy and numeracy skills who finds it easy to build effective working relationships quickly.
If you are interested in signing up to Teaching Personnel as a Teaching Assistant then please attach your most recent CV as a file below containing a relevant career history.
