Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Start date: September 2025
Location: Middlesborough
Contract: Full time (Temp to Perm)
Salary: £90-100 a day (Dependent on experience)
Have you just graduated and looking to support and inspire children with a love for education? Then look no further! Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant who can work closely with staff and students, whilst allowing them to gain first-hand classroom experience in schools across Middlesborough and continue to expand their knowledge.
What this role will entail:
- Creating a motivating and accepting classroom environment that encourages growth and passion
- Providing both group and 1:1 support with students
- Collaborating with teachers to give the best possible support
- Applying and improving subject knowledge during your time in the classroom
What the ideal candidate looks like:
- A relevant degree, or equivalent (a bachelor’s degree in education is preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in the classroom/supporting students (desirable but not essential)
- DBS check (or willing to apply)
- Ability to work as a collective and collaborate in a professional setting
- Strong communication skills
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
