Education Graduates required for Secondary Schools in Leeds

On behalf of my workforce partner schools in Leeds, we are seeking graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in Secondary Education. Successful candidates will be required to provide specialist support for pupils in our Leeds Secondary schools. This is a highly rewarding role, giving aspiring teachers vital experience and the chance to gain an understanding of the complexities relating to all aspects of school life/teaching including Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This role has a number of names – Cover Supervisor – Behaviour Support Worker - Learning Support Assistant - Teaching Assistant. The graduate will have a desire to work with young people and aim to make a real difference to a child’s life.
We are looking for hard working and committed individuals who ideally want to progress to the final goal of being a FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER.
The following are essential to the role:
• Recent graduate in Education of Secondary based subject - or current student.
• Firm understanding of meeting the Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs of young people
• Ability to deliver pre planned work and maintain classroom behaviours
