Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is working on behalf of a popular and friendly school in the Consett area of Durham (DH8) to recruit a graduate teaching assistant to join their KS1 team. The successful applicant will work within the Year 1 class on a full-time basis, starting in September and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.

This role is to support within a 'GOOD' school that is proud of its 'rich and diverse environment.' To be considered for this role, applicants must have experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in KS1. They must have a passion for education, bring fresh new ideas and enthusiasm, and be looking for their next role within a 'GOOD' primary school.

Candidates holding degrees in English, Maths, Media, Science, Performing Arts, or Psychology are highly desirable in primary schools.
