Graduate Teacher Training
Job description
START YOUR TEACHING CAREER IN LONDON
Salaried Two-Year Training Programme | September 2026
Get Qualified. Get Paid. Get Teaching.
No tuition fees. No financial stress. Just a clear, supported route into teaching with a salary from your first day.
What You'll Experience
12 Months as a Cover Supervisor (Sept 2026 - Aug 2027)
Begin as a salaried member of our team while receiving comprehensive teacher training. You'll work directly with students, support lessons, and learn from expert educators—all while being paid £24,000 - £30,000.
During this year:
- Gain real classroom experience every day
- Attend weekly training workshops covering pedagogy, classroom management, and student safeguarding
- Work closely with an assigned mentor who'll guide your development
- Build practical skills through observation and gradual teaching responsibilities
- Receive full employment benefits including pension and paid holidays
12 Months of Teacher Training (Sept 2027 - July 2028)
Move into your formal training year with salary continuation. You'll complete all requirements for Qualified Teacher Status and finish the programme ready for a permanent teaching role.
By the end:
- Qualified Teacher Status achieved
- Permanent position secured in our school or trust
- Foundation for a long and rewarding career in education
What You Need
Before starting Year 2, you must have:
- A degree from a UK university (or international equivalent)
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or higher
What Makes This Different
- Financial freedom - A proper salary means you can focus on learning to teach, not on making ends meet
- Real preparation - Twelve months of classroom immersion before your training year means you'll start ahead
- Genuine support - Small cohorts, experienced mentors, and a school community invested in your success
- Secure future - This isn't just training—it's a direct pipeline to permanent employment
- Who Thrives Here
You don't need teaching experience. You don't need to have it all figured out.
You do need:
- Genuine care for young people's development
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to seeing the two years through
We're looking for graduates ready to try teaching, professionals wanting a career reset, and anyone who believes education changes lives.
