Graduate Roles in Doncaster Secondary Schools

If you have recently graduated and want to begin your career working in schools then Teaching Personnel has a great opportunity for you. We are looking for graduates to start working in mainstream Secondary Schools in Doncaster as Cover Supervisors.

It is a great opportunity to get paid experience within schools to kick-start your career and Teaching Personnel even run a Future Teachers Programme, where the experience you get now can support your PGCE applications in the future.

The role of a Cover Supervisor is delivering lessons where the work has already be planned and set for you, with the key aspect being behaviour management. It is a good opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of schools, across different subjects and key stages before decided what kind of role you like best.

You will get exclusive access to online accredited courses to develop your CPD and add to your CV and regularly get feedback from the schools you work in.

What do Teaching Personnel offer?

  • Future Teacher Programme to gain experience supporting PGCE applications
  • Competitive daily rates starting at GBP60 per day for Cover Supervisors
  • A temp-to-perm scheme which can see you gain a permanent contract within a school after 20 weeks of seeing if it is the right fir for you
  • The flexibility to try different roles to find what suits you!

What do you need?

  • A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • A relevant degree, such as in any of the following fields: Core Subjects, Psychology, Sports/Sports Coaching, SEN and Inclusion
