I'm working with a good graded school in Waterlooville looking for Maths Graduates to start in September, and work for one academic year with a view to transition onto the schools Rural School's alliance teacher training programme. There are 4 schools across Hampshire which make up the alliance and teaching personnel is working exclusively with them to find the very best future teachers!

The school are extremely ambitious for their 814 students and have a strong vision to ensure that the life-chances of every young person are enhanced by quality teaching, leading to excellent outcomes. Having secured a 'Good' OFSTED in April 2015 they are now looking for staff who can take them to 'Outstanding which is extended to support staff.

You will become an integral part of the maths department and learn how plan, prepare and deliver lessons. You will also learn behaviour management techniques and how to differentiate your lessons.

In return you will expected to raise attainment through 1-2-1 and small group tuition and in class support.

The roles are 5 days per week, school days, so you'd typically be working 815-330ish. There will be a small amount marking and assessment involved in time with relevant training.

Ideal candidates have the following -

• A first or 2:1 in a maths based degree
• Previous tuition and/or school based experience
• A 'can do' attitude and a desire to teach

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
