Are you a recent graduate thinking of doing a PGCE or Teacher Training course? Would you like to gain paid classroom experience?

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit several graduates to register with ourselves as Cover Supervisors for immediate starts. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain paid classroom experience with a view to potentially completing a Teacher Training course in the future.

• Flexible working schedule to suit your needs (Full time and part time work)
• Earn between £270 and £350 per week (depending on experience and length of cover)
• Gain experience at several secondary schools in North Manchester

Working as a Cover Supervisor through Teaching Personnel, prospective candidates should be confident and resilient individuals that strive in an environment working with young students. Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to build a strong rapport with a range of learners with different needs are highly desirable traits for this exciting role.

The role will involve delivering pre-set work that has been left by the class teacher in their absence, ensuring that the behaviour policy of the school is being followed thoroughly. Experience of being in a classroom either as a Teaching Assistant or otherwise would be beneficial but not essential. Many other roles will have good transferable skills including youth work experience and coaching as well as learning support work.
