Graduate Cover Supervisor – Durham

ASAP start, part time, full time, or flexible hours available.

Teaching Personnel is recruiting graduate Cover Supervisors for secondary schools across Durham. If you're a recent graduate looking for rewarding, flexible work that gives you real classroom experience, this could be a great fit.

No prior teaching qualification required. What matters is enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine interest in working with young people.

What the role involves:

  • Supervising pre prepared lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4
  • Maintaining a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Encouraging pupils to stay engaged, motivated, and ready to learn
  • Following school policies and procedures

No lesson planning or marking, meaning you can focus entirely on building confidence in classroom management and student support.
