Job Role: Graduate Cover Supervisor

Location: Burnley, Lancashire

Start date: 5th September 2023

Contract: Flexible contract, on a full-time or part-time basis

Our school is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as a Cover Supervisor from September onwards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the education sector while working alongside experienced teachers and supporting students in their learning.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will need to be confident and proactive, able to engage students and manage behaviour effectively. You will also have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills by delivering pre-prepared lessons and supporting students with their work.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to start building their experience in education, as you will have the chance to work in a variety of subject areas and year groups. You will also benefit from ongoing support and training from our experienced staff.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a degree or equivalent qualification, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
