We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring Physical Education Practitioner to join a highly regarded and successful PE and Sport Faculty within a larger secondary school. We seek the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or better lessons. You will be able to enthuse and motivate our students with your passion for Sport and creative teaching, presence and personality.
Sport is a high achieving and dynamic faculty. Results are outstanding and students make excellent progress. Members of the team are totally committed to ensuring successful outcomes for our students. We offer core PE to all year groups in KS3 and KS4 and a range of BTEC courses in KS4 and KS5.
The secondary school is a friendly, dynamic and innovative school in the Accrington Area, which affords a high quality of life. In an independent survey, parents judged the school to be outstanding for support, discipline, teaching quality, facilities and leadership/management.
About the role:
Due to the outbreak of COVID19, the school is unable to do their own recruitment due to other priorities of vulnerable children, children of Key Workers and the uncertainty of the future. The school work in partnership with Teaching Personnel, and have approached TP to take over their recruitment.
You will join the school on the 1st September (depending in COVID19) on a temp to perm contract. You will teach full time on a TP contract for a number of weeks, and then automatically transition on to the schools contract. This is to make sure that both the Candidate and School are happy before committing to a full contract.
