Girls’ PE Teacher – Secondary School – Stockport
Location: Stockport
Pay: £120 - 220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Contract Type: Full-time (Part-time considered)

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Stockport. The successful candidate will teach Girls’ Physical Education to KS3 and KS4 students and contribute to the school’s thriving extra-curricular sports programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school that values physical wellbeing and promotes a positive, inclusive sporting culture.
Duties will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum

Preparing students for practical and theory-based PE assessments (GCSE PE if applicable)

Leading girls’ sports clubs and encouraging wider participation

Organising and supporting school fixtures, tournaments and activities

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement in practical settings
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS or be an experienced unqualified PE instructor

Have experience teaching PE to girls in a secondary school setting

Be confident teaching a range of sports including netball, rounders, athletics and fitness

Be passionate about promoting an active and healthy lifestyle

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
