German specialist MFL Teacher needed in Blackburn School

Teaching Personnel is currently looking for an outstanding German Teacher to fill a position which has become available in a school in the Blackburn area. The position has become available due to the sudden absence of a German specialist MFL Teacher. The position is at least for the spring term, however for a suitable candidate there is the potential for the role to be extended to summer 2018, with a possibility of being taken onto the schools contract in September.

The school is an Ofsted 'Requires Improvement' school which is making rapid improvements to re-obtain a 'Good' Judgement. In the 2017 results the school achieved above the national average. The school has been commended for the excellent atmosphere amongst staff.

A suitable candidate will need to have experience delivering GCSE German. The school would be willing to consider applications from NQTs would be considered. There is an extensive support system in place to ensure that candidates are able to settle into the school. The MFL staff contribute towards supporting the EAL pupils with some lessons in the timetable being dedicated to supporting these pupils.
