Set within spacious grounds the school is located in the leafy area near Trent Park the school is located near Oakwood station. The school can also be accessed by car and has parking on site. You can also reach the school by bus.
The school is a selective mixed grammar school with a large part of their ethos focused on achievement and development in extra-curricular activities.
The Geography department are looking for someone who can come into their department and hit the ground running in their new role. The department's exam results are outstanding at both GCSE and at 'A' level, our latest results being 93% A*/A at GCSE and 98% A*/B at A-level.
In order to be successful at this school you will need to be a specialist in your subject and be able to inspire students to want to learn more in this subject.
The school was recently graded as outstanding by Ofsted and they are looking to extend this reputation into future expectations.
The role: Geography teacher September start Enfield based school
As a Geography teacher at this school you will be expected to lead classes and develop student's understanding of their subject. You will be teaching across the ability range key stages 3-5. In this role planning and marking will be expected and you will receive full support from the Head of Department as well as other teachers. The department is close knit so we are looking for someone who will be a good team player and can build relationships easily
Requirements for this role: Geography teacher September start Enfield based school
In order to be put through to the interview stage you will need to be a fully qualified maths teacher with previous experience working in secondary schools ideally in central London schools.
You will be a proactive teacher who is a natural self starter.
We will need a full DBS as well as two references from previous employers before you can start working
