Geography teacher Manchester

Manchester based secondary school are looking to appoint a Humanities teacher specialising in Geography for a September start. Modern state of the art facilities make this an enjoyable place to teach and ensure students reach their expected levels of progress. There are high levels of students eligible for free school meals with over 40% and high levels of students who use English as an additional language at 42% with the demographics of the local area.

This is a full time table consisting of Geography across KS3/KS4 with GCSE classes. You will be working within a department of 12 full time teachers and 4 Geography teachers. Geography teachers will need to have full qualified teacher status in the UK, suitable teaching references and a fully enhanced DBS certificate.

Currently graded as requires improvement the school has provisions and plans in place to work towards "Good" in their next Ofsted report. Situated in central Manchester there are direct tram routes, train routes and bus routes for those who don't drive.
