Geography Teacher

We are currently working with a fantastic school who are based the west side of Southampton. They are looking for a geography teacher for a February half term start! The school are in the top Ten Hampshire Schools for progress of their students and place the majority of their success down to their prioritisation of student wellbeing.

The vacancy is a full time role whilst the member of staff is absent from work, it is expected role will be until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate would have ideally experience working within the secondary school setting.

The successful candidate will have a passion to use their initiative to implement actions to improve the student academic achievement and aid the pupils through the final part of there GCSE studies.

The successful candidate would be joining a school who are apart of a wider network who really look to provide their students and staff with endless opportunities. If the successful candidate gets on well within the role there is the potential opportunity of a permanent role becoming available within the school for a September start date.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification.
• Hold a subject related degree which is recognised within the UK
• Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS which is registered on the DBS update service.
