Geography Teacher – Weymouth
Full-Time | Starting January 2026
An innovative and supportive secondary school in Weymouth is looking for a passionate Geography Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This full-time role is ideal for someone who loves inspiring young learners and bringing the subject to life.
The successful applicant will deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities to explore the world, develop their geographical understanding, and build essential skills.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).

Confident classroom management with strong organisational skills.

Ability to design creative, curriculum-driven lessons.

Wide-ranging subject knowledge and dedication to excellent teaching.

Effective communication skills and the ability to inspire and support students.

Flexible and reflective approach, attentive to the individual needs of learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
