Geography teacher required in North Yorkshire to start Mid January

Are you a qualified and engaging Geography teacher looking to start your next teaching position? Or, are you a newly qualified teacher looking to complete your NQT year? If so, this position could be for you!

**Geography teacher**

**Full time basis starting mid January**

**Initially 6 months with the outlook to becoming permanent**

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large secondary school in North Yorkshire who is looking to recruit for a Geography teacher to start mid January. The schools humanities department is known for their hard work and dedication to improving student's results and they are continuously looking to developing new and exciting educational experiences for their high achieving pupils. The successful candidate will be required to start in mid January and teach Geography to KS3 and 4. Experience within other humanities subjects is preferable but not essential.

Suitable candidates will need to have:

  • Know how to track pupils progress
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons to GCSE
  • Vision, commitment and the ability to motivate students
  • Hold a DBS and ensure that it is on the update service (or will be willing to apply for one)
  • Ensure you have 2 references to cover a period of 11 months
