A brilliant open gap opportunity for a strong teacher who is able to encourage a love of Geography amongst young people at well structured secondary school.
- Full time Geography Teacher
- Starting in September 2020 - January 2021 initially- view to become permanent
- Pay in line with teacher pay scale MPS/UPS - GBP24,343 - GBP40,490
- Teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Central Manchester based secondary school with a supportive Senior Leadership Team
- Post available to Geography teachers of all levels - PGCE with QTS
- Exclusive access to new CPD to help teachers get September ready in light of the current closures
The Geography teacher will deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum and be able to successfully raise attainment in the subject. You will be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.
The Headteacher is looking for a Geography teacher to join their Humanities department who will deliver inspiring and engaging lessons to encourage pupil to reach their full potential in the subject from the beginning of the new academic year and beyond. The school can be reached via car or local public transport links from in and around of central Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
