Geography Graduate

Due to a restructuring in their Humanities faculty, our client are looking for a highly educated member of staff to join them and facilitate learning of their students in Geography lessons.

• Full time support role, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:00
• Supporting secondary students during Geography lessons
• Perfect experience for graduate seeking introduction into teaching

• Utilising your knowledge and experience in Geography to provide excellent education for students

The role will involve providing small group support to students during Geography lessons away from the rest of the students, as well as working in a full room setting as a teachers aide, explaining the work to students and helping them work through the problems and questions they face. The school teach Geography at both Key Stage 3 and 4, which will be excellent experience for those looking at a career in teaching as it will improve their understanding and familiarity with the curriculum. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people in some capacity, either as a Teaching Assistant, Coach, Youth Worker, Tutor, Mentor or similar and will be able to communicate with young people effectively.
