Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit general teaching assistants to support in a variety of secondary schools in the Warrington area. The successful teaching assistants have a variety of options in supporting on a full time, part time or temporary basis at a number of schools in the areas of Culcheth, Birchwood and Lymm.

The successful teaching assistants will b supporting as general assistance and support within the classroom as well as providing support to small groups of students as instructed and guided by the full class teacher.

The role will involve supporting with ages from 11 - 16 in the main, having a range of roles available at a number of secondary schools. Those Teaching Assistants who are looking to support younger students are encouraged to apply as schools have the new cohort of year 7s that aren't quite secondary school ready that need support. Another school in the Warrington area is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has specific experience of supporting within the classroom and working 1:1 with students with SEN.

Highlights of this Teaching Assistant role:

  • Pay ranging between £55 - £65 per day depending on experience
  • Opportunities of work within a variety of secondary schools in the Warrington area, such as Lymm, Birchwood and Culcheth
  • Options to support students in a general sense, on a 1:1 basis or in small groups depending on experience and preference
  • Support across the subject and age range, building on previous experience

We work with 5 different secondary schools in this area of Warrington, so have a variety of options available for individuals looking for secondary school support work. You will ideally be a dedicated teaching assistant who is able to draw upon previous experience of supporting students within a school setting or other environment.

The schools we work are easy to get to for teaching assistants that drive and those on public transport. Local public transport from the centre of Warrington service these schools as well as the A50, M6 and M62 motorway network.

Having spoken to these schools about the roles available, they have all advised that they are looking for positive and confident teaching assistants who can make a real impact to students' lives at school.
