Job Title: General Teaching Assistant
Location: Bradford, BD13
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive – depending on experience
Role Overview: As a General Teaching, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process. You will work closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom environment, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional support and guidance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a respectful atmosphere.
- Contribute to the overall welfare and development of students.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to assess student progress.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
